Initial Consultation
We offer a free initial consultation to discuss your vision for your garden. During this meeting, we’ll explore ideas and potential designs tailored to your space. If you’re happy with our approach, we’ll provide an estimated cost for the design work. Once agreed upon, we’ll ask you to sign a letter confirming the estimate, and we’ll begin the design process.

Site Survey
A site survey is essential for understanding the unique aspects of your garden, including existing features, hard landscaping, soil type, and orientation. While this can sometimes be done during the initial consultation, it’s often scheduled for a separate visit. For larger or more complex gardens, we may recommend a specialist survey, which could involve an additional cost.

Ideas Presentation
At the early design stage, we’ll present initial concepts and drawings, inviting you to collaborate in shaping the final vision for your garden. Once you’re satisfied with the direction, we’ll create the final set of drawings. Please note that any changes requested after the final drawings are completed may incur additional charges.

Final Drawings & Visuals
We typically produce two essential drawings: a layout plan detailing all hard landscaping and structural planting (such as trees), and a planting plan specifying the selected plants. To help you visualize the design, we may also provide visual renderings, offering a clearer picture of how the garden will look. These plans, along with the final design invoice, will be presented at your convenience.

Garden Construction
We handle all soft landscaping, including planting, seeding, turfing, dry stone walling, and soil conditioning. For structural elements like retaining walls, paving, or rendering, we can recommend trusted local contractors or work with someone you may already have in mind. Our firm specializes in decorative elements such as pathways, facades, feature installations, and natural structures. We can also oversee the entire construction process to ensure your garden is built to the highest standards, or you may choose to manage it yourself. We recommend getting multiple quotes from contractors, as all the necessary details are included in the layout plan.

Plants & Planting
We source and plant everything specified in the design, using high-quality plants from reputable nurseries. A detailed cost estimate for the plants can be provided alongside the planting plan.

Ongoing Support
We’re always available for ongoing advice once your garden is complete. If you’re preparing for a special occasion, such as a summer event or private gathering, we can help by dressing the garden with select plants to create the perfect atmosphere.
